2024 Speech Contests

District 43 will hold 2 contests this year:
The International Speech and Evaluation Contest.

The Area and Division Contest will be virtual.

The District Contest will be held in the hybrid format during the District Conference.

The timeline is outlined below.

Club Contest	Held between January 1 – 31 , 2024
Area Contest	Held between February 1 – 29, 2024
Division Contest	Held between March 1 – April 6, 2024
District Contest	Held During the Spring Conference April 19 – 20, 2024

On December 1, 2023, if the Area has 4 or less ACTIVE clubs, the clubs in that area may send 2 contestants to the Area Contest.

THE PERFECT 10 AWARD:

Achieve all 10 DCP goals by December 31, 2023 to be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $100 TI gift certificate for your club.

SMEDLEY INCENTIVE:

Obtain 5 new, dual or reinstated members by September 30, 2023.

ELITE MEMBER INCENTIVE:

This incentive has been extended until December 31, 2023. Renew your dues and you will receive an Elite Member Virtual Background, Elite Member ribbon and pin, recognition on our website and recognition at the 2024 Spring Conference.
